The Czechoslovakian Philosophical Club is open to everyone who is interested in current philosophical issues and the history of philosophy. Since discussions are usually in the Czech language, some understanding of Czech and/or Slovak is necessary. However, we do welcome any English-speaking scholar/philosopher who wish to deliver a lecture/paper at the Club, and we can certainly organise an English-speaking event if requested (by prior arrangement only).

NO PHILOSOPHICAL EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED. If you are open-minded persons willing to question some of your opinions and beliefs when discussing the key philosophical topics (ethics, politics, knowledge, mind, language, science, art, etc.), then you are in the right place.

We tend to meet bimonthly in pre-arranged places in Edinburgh and environs.
